It’s the new year and 2025 brings us new books and much awaited continuations to best selling book series of today. I’m giddy with excitement, are you? Here are my personally curated list of books coming out this winter. Perfect for cozying up in the sofa while sipping a hot chocolate.

I have yet to post a review but I rated Fourth Wing and Iron Flame 5 stars each, so it’s not a surprise that I am excited for this title. *Currently Reading it as I type this post* and *I finished the first 2 books in record time*

Water Moon

Over the last year, the rise of Japan based literature is noticeable. Water Moon is another one of those but here’s where it gets exciting the author is Filipino and as am I. I can’t wait to read this exciting novel.
Rebel Witch
by Kristen Ciccarelli, “The stakes are even higher in this epic, romantic conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Crimson Moth duology.” Available 18 Feb 25
My Review of The Crimson Moth got me to the top of Amazon’s book review and has inspired me to do review books once again. Fast-forward to now, I have a blog and a booktok page! Needless to say I am buzzing to get my hands on this book.
Faithbreaker

Another largely talked about series I have put off because I want to binge them all in one go. So, I am counting down the days when this arrives in my bookshelf.

We love a good STEM based Ali Hazelwood romance and now she’s asking us to dive into sports romances with her on this new book. Deep end promises a lot of diving and swimmer metaphors. I can’t wait to swoon!
Scythe & Sparrow
by Brynne Weaver, “Book three in Brynne Weaver’s popular Ruinous Love Trilogy continues the series’ tradition of standalone but interconnected dark comedy-romance adventures.” Available 11 Feb 25
I haven’t yet read the first 2 books, this series have been on my radar especially when it was all over BookTok. I have both and I am waiting until this is out to binge read them all!
I feel like we have been spoilt again by authors and publishers. And guess what, after this season more highly anticipated books are dropping in Spring and Summer 25; namely Fearless, A Curse Carved in Bone, Wooing The Witch Queen and many more!
